How many people are on a team?
4 people make up a standard team; the Lead, Second, Third, and Skip. There are also teams that involve only 2 people and are often a mixed double team consisting of a woman and a man.

What is the sweeping for?
Sweeping helps the stone travel farther or faster depending on how hard and fast the sweepers sweep.

How do you score?
The team with the curling stone closest to the center of the house (the Button) gets a point, plus any stones closer to the button than the next closet opponent's stone.
